Responsibilities:

Responsible for the coordinating the Safety Management System
SM is the focal point for the development, implementation, administration of the SMS

SM reports directly to Accountable Manager
- Monitors the compliance with regulations
- Control, distribute and amend the SMSM
- Manages and analyzes the internal reporting system
- Performs safety audits and inspections in all levels ( operational & third party contractors)
- Monitors the corrective actions
- Initiate safety investigations
- Organizes regular meetings
- Records, reviews and update hazard logs
- Provides periodic reports on safety performance
- Monitors the effectiveness of the training
- Oversees hazard identification system
- Issues safety notices
- Participates in the occurrence investigations
- Controls the ERP and applicable emergency response records
- Managing the FMS system

Requirements:

1-Knowledge of the applicable EU & ICAO requirements
2-Knowledge of the AOC Holder's safety policy, safety management system and the relevant parts of the AOC Holder's
Operating Manuals
3-Five (5) years of relevant work experience of which at least 2 years should be from the Aviation Industry in an
appropriate position
4-Has been trained in SMS, such training should cover the SMS requirements, Manuals and procedures related to
the task, Audit techniques ,Risk assessment techniques, reporting and recording
5-ICAO standards, basic safety investigation techniques and HF in Aviation training.
